It’s been a year. Pretty obvious I suppose, but it’s true. In some way it’s seemed to last forever, and in others it’s gone by in the blink of an eye.
So, what’s happened this past year at MarXtar that we should highlight? Well, it would be remiss of me not to mention being awarded the Ivanti EMEA Services Partner award since that was a fantastic achievement for MarXtar and recognition of the focus on quality that the team has always had.
We’ve continued to expand with new people joining us in both the sales and the delivery sides of the business helping us to continue our growth trajectory, not just in the commercial sense, but in the breadth of our offering.
Our “Best of Breed to Meet the Need” approach continues to find resonance with our customers and the market, with us being able to assess what the actual requirement is and map the appropriate vendor technologies to that while avoiding getting lost in the world of feature comparisons without context. For some customers this has supported a move away from their previous vendors, whereas for others it’s helped identify that the issue didn’t lie with the product and instead was something that could be remedied without huge financial outlay on new tech. The depth of real-world knowledge our team possesses, their focus on finding the right solution and our strong relationships with our customers, is what makes this approach possible.
We hosted our annual MarXtar MasterClass Day, a free training event for customers to tap into the MarXtar teams expertise. It is always a great opportunity for us to get together with our customers in a safe environment to discuss their issues, and we are happy to say we will be hosting one again 8th October 2025. The end of 2024 saw our launch of ‘AdminQ’. A service we’ve been delivering unofficially but has now been converted into a service in its own right. Built on the shoulders of a skilled and enthusiastic Managed Services team, this continues MarXtar’s progress in allowing our customers to focus on getting the benefits of their technology investments without needing to align internal resources to non-core functions. We’ll talk a lot more about this in the year to come I’m sure. 😊
Outside of work, some of us have experienced the highs and low that life brings. We lost some people we love, while we’ve welcomed others into the family. We’ve supported each other through times of trouble, through sickness and recovery, throughout the year as any organisation should. I hope that all of us at MarXtar feel valued and supported when and where it matters rather than just being a cog in the machine.
Next year brings more change which is the one thing that never seems to change! As always, we plan to confront the challenges it brings, adapt to it and come out stronger on the other side. We’ll do this with our usual mix of grit, determination. We look forward to facing those challenges together and with you over the coming year.
