How do you keep your technology skills current?
Self-Discipline, hands-on experimentation, online information, and much pain
Who is your hero?
In work, Richard Branson, as he has achieved so much in so many fields. At play it has got to be Arnie ‘I’ll be back’ Schwarzenegger
What motivates you to work hard?
I hate not being prepared, or delivering work late, so I make sure I take my time to understand and learn everything needed to fulfil my customer’s requirements – if I don’t know it already – preparation is key!
What is your favourite thing about your career?
There are never 2 days the same.
What did you want to be when you were small?
Can’t remember as I was small 😊
If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
Walk along a sandy beach in the Bahamas.
What is your favourite game or sport to watch and play?
Don’t really DO sport but if forced, Rugby.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Lamb roast with all the trimmings– nothing beats it.
What was the last book you read?
I am currently reading ‘I AM C-3PO – THE INSIDE STORY BY ANTHONY DANIELS’ it’s an interesting read by Daniels who realises landing the role of C-3PO was a life game-changer.

Handle with care, volatile substance.
What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Experienced, fiery, bearded.
What is your favourite and least favourite technology products, and why?
My least favourite is Operating Systems – Once fast moving, they have bottomed out and become bloated and just do necessary stuff these days.
My favourite is IOT Devices – You can do fun stuff around the house with them and it is a fast-developing market.
How do you think further technology advances will impact your job?
Future technology will take more of my time to understand and fix when it goes wrong.
